smile for the V-MAX!!

this is one of 4 coyotes I seen working the same field on mice this morning. they weren't having anything to do with any kind of racket I was making. after taking all the torment I could stand, I decided to make a stalk. I got to within 267 yards of this gal when she finally offered a shot. she popped up out of a small gully facing me straight on. I settled the cross hairs right on her nose thinking I'd hit an inch or two low since I'm zeroed at 250. that wasn't the case. the 40gn. V-MAX caught her right at the base of the right nostril. it just dumped her straight back.

"shooting a .204 with a 40 grain v-max"

It is not a good round for rabbit, most get blown in half.

I like it! We don't score 'em. We just shoot 'em!
