Rifle for large coyotes

Coming in for coffee after the morning's deer hunt, my girlfriend spotted a coyote in the horse pasture, out the back door. My 7 mag was in the truck, and the ammo for the varmint guns was down stairs in the reloading room. Nothing left to do but grab the .358 STA. Fortunately those 250 grain Hornady's can handle a coyote. Seems like every thing I've shot around here with that gun goes down pretty quick.

Somebody here's signature says something about that silly little idea of overkill. The best gun to shot a song-dog with is the one in your hands at the time. Good job!!!
