I went back to a 250yd zero -was using mpbr=maximum point blank range but the midrange trajectory is too high [3.5"] for my taste.You can easily over shoot a coyote especially if you use a hard surface to shoot off of.
Is this what you were referring to by "overshooting" the coyote? It looks like the shot was high and hit the spine and literally "blew up".
