I've got to take a week off this month or maybe May. I want drive all over the desert off HWY 80 in beautiful Nevada. Is spring time un productive? What tactics ? What calls?

Lone howl or interrogation howl -pan the sound around if you get an answer challenge bark at them.

There are a lot of loners laying around by themselves this time of year -once the alpha's pair up they "usually" will stay to themselves.
They have heard every sound known to man by now so keep calling to a minimum -do a lot of walk hunting from one rock outcropping to the next ,come in from downwind and lay down 2-300yds from a rock outcropping give a quick bark bark many times a yote will stand up into the crosshair..........ME
