Howa rifles

I am looking to get a new coyote rifle. I was looking at the howa rifles. Ive been hearing mixed opinions from people. What do you guys think? I was looking to get it in 243 or 270. Your guys opinions would be really appreciated. Thanks

Re: Howa rifles

They are great very very good value for the money. I own one and would buy another.

Re: Howa rifles

I had my 300 win mag built on the action. I'm still finding out other mods that I can do to it every day.

Re: Howa rifles

Howa's are good... 243 would be enough for coyotes and deer... if you are not going to be shooting a lot or if you are going to reload then the 270 would not cost a whole lot more to shoot.

Re: Howa rifles

I think the Howa/Vanguard is one of the better deals available, good action, great adjustable trigger, most I've played with are very "hunting" accurate. The stock is the only draw back, but easily replaced if you need to.
