Question Good/best varmint call

I'm going to buy a varmint call and would like the advice of everyone
and the pros and cons of different models.

They doint have to be the hightest price but if that is the best all around
so be it.

I would like one that can be used for coyotes, bobcats, geese, ETC.

Would appreciate any help !!!!!
Thanks

Re: Good/best varmint call

I picked up a used Foxpro FX-3 for $300 and have been using it for about a month.
I'm really impressed so far. I've called in 3 dogs in my last 10 stands.
In fact I killed my first coyote with it a few weeks ago.
Beware... your in for a terrible addiction

Re: Good/best varmint call

Go to foxpro's web site and predator masters dot com forums. Select a Foxpro model that suits your needs and your done. The predator masters forum will allow you to see Foxpro's second to none customer service and research just how good they are. I will suggest you go with a remote model. I called in 2 coyotes and one bobcat on the first stand with my new Foxpro a few years ago.

Re: Good/best varmint call

I assume you are talking about electronic callers?

I would go with FOXPRO or Minaska. The best bang for the buck right now is a refurbished FOXPRO 416LR for $225. It has 16 sounds of your choice and the TX-5 Long Range Remote.

Here is a link: FOXPRO Forums :: View Forum - FOXPRO Refurbished Units

You can just call them and ask for Jarod: 866-463-6977

Good Hunting,

Bob

Re: Good/best varmint call

I would go with the Wildlife Technologies the price has come down and they are by far the best made in my opinion. They have a huge sound selection and if you call them they can set you up with what ever sounds you need. They are the clearest sounds that I've ever heard in any wildlife calls even at full volume.
