Hey Blygy, I'm in Calgary. The predator shoot takes place anywhere guys have access to. Here's a link to one of our newsletters, check out page 3 for a write up about the predator shoot: Predator Shoot (requires Adobe Reader)

Where are you located?

Re: Dec. 2006 Coyote Calling Champions

I'm north of you three hours .. by Drayton Valley.. west of edmonton 1 hour...

Looks interesting.. we were thinking of adding in the magpie raven thing but weren't sure how.. I like the points system though... good thinking... up here we need to add 5 pts for a wolf though..

I'll have to send this along to a buddy and see what he thinks of it for next year..

Thanks

We used Primos - Randy Anderson series hand calls and my FOXPRO FX3.

I really like the open reed calls and the FOXPRO... well it is HANDS down the best electronic caller out there. We turned up the Foxpro at the windy spots and really watched the downwind side. It works so well !!

We did just as good at night as daytime. Most setups in the shade with the shooter about 50 yards downwind from the caller. We take turns doing each.

Shoot 25-06 Sendero and .220 Swift. Also, I pack a 3.5 inch mag 12 gauge with number 4 buck.... It lays them down fast on the close ones.

anymore info, just ask...
