Re: coyote trapping
Ok I would forget the whole playwood with the cat idea and trying to get many coyotes to go into a cage trap unless your building them really big, forget it!
I would recommend you get some decent coyote traps! Bridger or montanas are good traps! Good videos are numerous I would get those that best fit the terrain and area in which you trap! Good books Ogormans,Russ Carmens, Tom Mirandas coyote trapping also very good, Bodas coyote book as very good.
Learn the basic sets dirthole, flat sets and walk through flat sets and buy good lure and bait! Find good coyote travel routes and use the wind to carry your lure or bait to the coyotes nose and I wouldn't go with trap treatment that you need to mix with gas type things! Good ol logwood dye and wax. File your pans with a good trigger and run pan tension. Make sure you bed your traps rock solid and use enough covering for wind conditions. Good luck
