Hey Jt, I am currently shooting a 60gr. V-max out of my 1-9 twist savage .223 and I am extremely pleased with the results! Very Accurate bullet and after 100 rounds, almost zero copper fouling. IMO I would leave out the 77 gr. bullets and similar bullets that heavy, as a very fast twist barrel is required, such as royinidaho's with a 1-7. If your planning on shooting at longer ranges, I would even consider Hornady's 68gr. BTHP. With a MUCH higher BC than the v-max. However, If your out for coyotes exclusively I might stick with the v-max as they may perform better on dogs at reasonable ranges, but some argue (myself included as I want more of a dual purpose bullet) that the match bullets (such as the 68gr. BTHP) do just as well as the v-max, both make the dogs dead on the spot

Thanks alot S tvnbrg for the info I;l try them - As far as distance anywhere from 125 to 50 yards should be good.
