thanks guy's. Ol Mike, my guess is the same as yours & if the same shot presents itself again, I'll give it another whirl & maybe try to for a neck shot. my .243 AI will be set up to shoot the heavier bullets since it will double as a deer rifle. I'm on the fence between a 1/8 or 1/9 twist barrel. in a perfect world, the gun will love 87gn v-max's & 105gn A-max's or one of the hevier bergers. I just became a father yesterday, so this project's put on hold for a short bit, but well worth it.
