I used a 6 WOA AR-15 this past winter for predator hunting. Shot 29 coyotes with it and had to shoot 1 twice. The load used was a 65 grain V-Max with Benchmark powder yeilding 3425 fps in a 22 inch barrel. I also have a 243 WSSM, but the pinpoint accuracy is not there with it as it is with the 6 WOA.
I have a bushmaster lower and upper with a 24 inch 1:8 twist and a wilson match bull barrel. Nightforce optics with a larue mount. Been killing coyotes at 500 yards lately and this thing shoots like a dream now after some modifications
I also have an AR i use for coyotes. The upper is a 223AI with a 26" 9-twist Hart. I'm shooting the 65 JLK Low Drag (BC-.4) @ 3050, and i have the old DPMS VLD magazine that allows for .25" more cartridge OAL, making it perfect for this bullet. I have the Rapid Reticle 3-9X 22 Long Rifle scope on top, and once recald. to the trjectory of my load it's the best 1st focal plane optic i've ever used on an AR for short to intermediate range hunting. This combination is good to right around 500 yds. or so on coyotes.
