Re: 25-06 coyote
I had a really good load of IMR4831 52.8 grains with SGK's. Bullet just touching the lands. Took two deer right on the spot. Little damage to anything.

Re: 25-06 coyote
I was using 50.5g Rl-22, win case, cci 200, 115g vld right on the lands, 1/4-1/2 MOA to 400 yards and 3025fps.
Thats why Im liking this Retumbo. I can get 3275fps and 1/2-3/4 MOA to 400 yards, which is still plenty good for hunting, but the extra 250fps makes a huge difference. 125fps shy of a factory 257 WBY is all.

Re: 25-06 coyote
Nice shot 115gr works best for me too. The 26-06 just amazes me how accurate they are.

i just got some retumbo for my 300 rum but after seeing this, im going to try it in the 25-06, im stuck at 3080-3100 with rl25 and 3080-3115 with rl-22 and rl-22 is showing press signs so i stayed with rl-25 accuracy seems to be about the same at 100 yds but past 500 the rl-25 seems smoother and more controlled, cci benchrest primers

mine is a tikka 695 and for a grab a gun and kill it, it just works, not too loud, no kick, i have shot ground squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, ringtale cats, house cats, ferral dogs, foxes, coyotes, javelina, white tail deer, mule deer, badgers, birds, snakes, muskrats, etc etc etc, deer was the largest and they didnt run off, i have shot deer with sierras, hornadys, and noslers, and all performed well but my favorite all around bullet is the 115 nosler, been shooting it since 1997 and seems to have the same accuracy, going to try some berger vlds this spring for rock chucks, longest shot was a milk jug just over 950 yards off a bipod, longest attempted with the 25-06 was 1117, and barely missed a coyote
