143 gr. ELD-X for 'yotes?

Is a Hornady 143 gr. ELD-X bullet too much for coyotes? Should I stick to 120 gr. or 129 gr. bullets?

I guess it depends on how fast it is going and how much coyote you want left.

I shoot a 140 gr SST out of my 260. I've shot quite a few with it. They die a good death at whatever range they catch the round. They do leave a good sized exit hole in the pelt. I'd say you could expect the same thing from a 143 gr. If they shoot good out of your gun, and you want to use them, go kill coyotes.
