Dave:

Great story and very enjoyable reading. Kind of like curling up in front of the fire with a good book.

For people who have never hunted bear, it contains a vast amount of information and would be a good read for anyone thinking about doing the same thing.

Keep the good hunt stories coming.

Thanks..

I'm not much of a writer but tried to convey something of the hunt and characters involved. I plan to do some editing (moving periods and comma's about) as I'm terrible at that sort of thing. (It's a mental block of some sort, I must have had a traumatic experience with my English teachers at some point.)

I've been up to Ron's place a few more times and have always gotten bears (and passed a a good number too). I mostly do spot and stalk now but the ease of a baited hunt is very nice too (far more nature up close for observation).

I have a video of this hunt complete with dancing bears and gasseous moments and if I can find a way to make it small enough I'll post it or portions thereof.
