ok this may be a silly question to some of you !!but what SP are out there other than the Encore something with a bolt style action as much as like the encore i would be interested in putting some like the xp 100 together

Jim,
H-S Precision makes a bolt action SP (Total hand, and some other action companies make actions that are suitable for an XP style SP. One minor issue with buying a action other than a old style Xp action (single-shot dog-leg bolt handle) is that you will need to find a trigger linkage, which may need to be modified to fit.
If you build it into a rear-grip configuration you can use a number of triggers. My personal preference is center-grip though.
