Which SP on what game for 2007-2008 season?

Okay guys what type/cartridge of specialty handgun(s) are you using for game this year?

30 GNR for hunting in the woods and the 7.21 lazz for hunting over food plot's.

prohunter in 243 win i got my first pistol deer last fall it was not a long shot the trigger was a tad over 7 pounds i was useing some cheap cabelas bulk ammo 100gr. btsp the shot was about 30 yards

since then i had trigger job done now im at 1 pound and swithced to some 85 gr tsx its a little under 1 moa @ 100 yards i would be thrilled to get one at a 100 yards . its topped with a burris 2x7 posi lock on it

7mm-08 Striker, not an X-P. Kirby did some work on it and just starting to load for it. Shot 1 1/4 MOA 1st time out, had never shot a specialty handgun before, I'm hooked. Watch out Muley's to 300 yds, great horseback gun.

Once u get it broke in, 300 yd. mulies will be DRT every shot, no doubt. If APS built it, it'll do better than that.


I've got an interesting project going. I'm reworking my Savage Striker 243 WSSM. I'm gonna rebarrel to a 6-RSAUM, and as soon as i can get a Unertl BV-20 I'm gonna put it on top, for a long-range coyote sniper. The bullet itself got this all started-- the 117 gr. DTAC polymer tip with .6 BC. Whhhoeee--can't wait.
