My new SP handgun

Just picked it up last night and thought I'd share some quick photos. First the details

XP-100 action
Benchmark 18" 1-9 twist heavy bull barrel chambered in 284 win
Mcree stock
Jewel trigger
And I forgot what nMe the smith told me for the brake

The scope is just a throw on so I can play with the handgun. I plan on a night force soon. Also, looks like I can use low rings instead of medium. As for how she shoots I dunno, fingers are crossed. I'll start a barrel break in tomorrow and hopefully do a load work up the following day. I gotta give Ernie credit for this one. I always wanted to do something to my XP but wasn't sure what until I saw one of his. Thanks for the idea and sorry I stole it

Re: My new SP handgun

Thanks guys. The black stock is temporary. At some point I'm going to dip it in atac camo. And I do think its a shooter I did half my barrel break in last night. I used some old Hornady 139gr bullets just to use them up. I plan on using Berger 168 for my load development. Anyway I am excited. The first three shots are almost in the same hole at 100 yards. I can't wait to see what I can do when I actually try to develops a load. I only got 10 rounds through it before dark but they were all in there. I only got a pic of the first three.

It looks good and it shoots good....What more can you ask for? Good luck on your future load development work.
