The 2010 match finished yesterday.
Erik defended his title well.

Here are the results.

We had 20 competitors for this years match. This was the largest group we have had!
We had 10+ folks cancel out because of various reasons or we could have had over 30 competitors.


Here are the winners of the different classes.

Must be in the blood. Great job, both of you! I love it when I see my son succeed in whatever he tries, but he's only 5. Earnie, I cant even imagine the pride and joy you must feel when your son does something spectacular like that, and as if once wasnt enough Eric backed it up again this year!! Way to go Eric! Wow. thats amazing.

I am extremely proud of Erik!

He plans on shooting in the "Light Pistol Class" as well as compete in the roving field course next year.
I guess it is time to start working with him on field shooting more now
He enjoys being with everyone and having fun in this competition.

There was one gent who tried to play some head games with him, and he shrugged it off, and put it right back on him verbally and of course beat him.

It is good I didn't find out about it till later, as it would have tended to bring out a more aggressive part of me, that would not have helped the situation.

One of his friends from church was with us on two of the days, and Erik even asked him to spot for him-very cool.
This young man plans to compete next year as well. His dad will likely be there too.
Looking forward to next year already!

I think that he can come shoot out at the shop and get some practice in for the field course and the long range. Erik I think that you are awsome keep up the good work and the smiles that go everywher you go it will help in everything you do.

Erik is looking forward to doing the field course next year, and I think he is going to use the MOA pistol for that shoot. Knowing he is going to have to learn more about field shooting, just breaks my heart to hear him say that

He also helped load for all of his shooting for the match.
