I hunt with my 460 and other revolvers alot like as in I shoot one everyday from 50- to whatever yards I see something I want to bump off anyway I dont know that there is such thing as "a long range" handgun load just long range shooting. I got over my fear of shooting over a hundred oneday when at the range with some silhoutte shooters about 8-9 years ago, just find something past your personal effective range and shoot at it until you can hit it with regularity, I can regularly hit thing at up to 325 yards or so and I shoot this far fairly often just laser all your shots first.

finally got to try some loads for the 335gr cast performance bullets and the 240gr xtp mags the load that I found that got acceptable accuracy for the xtp 46.8gr of h110 velocity was 1690fps the cast performance bullets strip the rifling with any velocity over 1700fps I got great accuracy (2 in at 50yds) with 39 gr of lil gun sighted in at 4in high at 50 yds is only 13in low at 200
