I see there are still whitetail tags left over, maybe the Striker will see more action before winter vacation?
Light, fast handling rifle and pair of shooting sticks is how I hunt; more often than not, especially for coyotes and deer when alot of walking is the name of the game. My favorite deer rifle doesn't even have a bipod on it, I just pack the sticks (they douple for killing rattlesnakes too).

I used to have a Remington rear grip XP; but in those days, money was tight and I ended up trading it for some new tires for my pickup. Sure wouldn't mind getting back into the specialty pistol scene sometime in the future though. That XP was a blast to shoot!

Just curious as to why you want a brake? What scope do you plan on going with?

Thanks.

16X IOR or one of the 6-24s= The 6x pistol scope that is on it now is not enough power and does not have enough travel to get out past 600yards.
I had my doubts about useing a rifle scope on a pistol with this much recoil after it about knocked me out but after shooting Ernie's 7SAUM I'm a believer!! It realy works.

That Holland Radial brake really works, doesn't it?

Re: 30-06 Stiker results

It sure does reduce the recoil, plenty good enough to use a rifle scope!
In its place the Striker works very well but for jump shooting whitetails this weekend the Sweed engineers carbine is getting the call, it even weighs less than the Striker with the 30-06 barrel
