what powder is what ?

i want to begin reloading my 7mmwsm have done a lot of research on all the tools i will need and literature to get but i cant find a thing on what powder to buy. can any one offer some advice on the matter. just cant stand to keep buying it at $35.00-50.00 a box of 20. i have save all the brass i shoot just cant figure out this powder proablem.

The first thing to buy is a reloading manual, I feel that the Lyman is best for newbies.

From it, pick a powder that provides best velocity for your cartrige and bullet weight and try that one first.

thanks for the link much info there gonna read it right now , and i will be ordering the lyman manual if you think its best.

well that link was real great thanks:} ,

do any of you have recomendations for me having never reloaded before on wich press to buy before i begin purchasing every thing ive been leaning towards the lee brand because its with in my budget, only there are a bunch of choices, some have extras some dont.

Before ordering any manual, make sure that it contains data for your cartridges. Not all manuals list all calibers. Some manuals only list 1 or 2 loads for a caliber. I found it best to borrow a manual first or go to the store and spend the time to read each cartridge I have first before buying a manual that doesn't have the info that I need.
