What kind of accuracy are you getting with hunting loads

I think of moose as big game so I would use a 375 or a 416 to dispach
one of these beast.

They can be dangerous if wonded, So if your going to use a 308 win
I would recomend the largest bullet your rifle will shoot .

The accubond or the partition would be my choice .

As to accuracy,Heavy bullets can be very accurate and 1/2 moa groups
are very possible with good hunting bullets.

A 308 will kill anything but I would not recomend it for large/dangerous
game.

Hopefully some of the others that have killed Moose will chime in and share
thier experiences with the caliber that they used.

There's a video on youtube where a guy kills a moose with a 7-08 and a 120 Barnes, either X or TSX.

moose are nothing like deer or elk. put anything in their chest and they're dead. it just takes them about a minute to fall over. don't make the mistake of blasting away at them. 10 shots in an inch and you're worried about accuracy...for moose? it's been a while but the way i remember the moose i killed and others we helped get out of the woods were pretty good size! put a 150 tsx in that 308 and go get em.

Handguns kill them well also and they will not put 10 inside an inch at 100 yards.
