What are good bullets for deer with the 7mm RM?

I'm new to the forum (you could probably tell by the post count) and I'm getting started reloading. Everyone is talking about ULD and VLD bullets, who makes these and where can I get them? I'm using a Savage 7mm RM with a 1 in 9 1/2" twist, so how heavy of a bullet can I use? Also, does anyone have the BC of these bullets and loading data I can work from? Thanks a bunch! 162 amax should work great for light game, bc is .62.

160 accubond for heavier game, bc .53.

I´ve tried some wildcat 175 ULD RBBT and shot great, worked also well on light game.Even though they are pretty long they´ve worked fine in my 9 1/2 twist.

Missouri Whitetail. I would like a bullet that doesn't blow up on game too, I don't want to ruin too much meat or have a bullet that fails to expand. The ranges could be anywhere from a couple yards if I jump one out to as long as I am confident in my shooting abilities. There are fields that go on for a long ways.

Re: What are good bullets for deer with the 7mm RM?

The 160 Accubond is a very hard bullet and it will blow through a lot of bones without exploding and ruining much meat.

Shooting a 7MM Wby with 160 AB I broke nearly every bone in a poor little deers body at only 50 yds and still didn't ruin very much meat. You can see the exit wound is not very big. Even a nosler partition would have cost me most of both shoulders but the accubond just breaks bones and keeps on going.

I usually shoot a much smaller caliber because I don't like to mangle up the meat but the 160 AB was a pleasant surprise
