Has anyone experienced any difference in "pulldown" surplus powder compared to new powder?

Also, does anyone have a source for WC872 they would like to share. Bartlett's is only carring pulldown now.

Alright... I'll give up my source just to help you guys out.

    Here's the link:

    http://http://www.patsreloading.com/patsrel/prices.htm

I just got off the phone with Pat, and he said they only have about 100 lbs of WC-872 left.

    He is not getting anymore.

They are replacing it with H-868 which is a tad bit faster than 872.

$40.00 for 8 lbs, plus HazMat fee.

If you are in a bind and can't get it from him, I may part with my 100 lbs stock pile.

    Thanks Joel,

Just ordered 32lbs....that should last me a little while.

He said it was older powder, but it still should be good.

    Roy,

    It's a ball powder...

    Use 872 data and back off 5% - 10%.

What about T870 (thunderbird cartridge company) I have some that shoots pretty good? Is that the same powder?
