VV N-170 or N-560 in 7mm Dakota & 7mm Rem Mag?

I am looking for loads in these 2 calibers with Vihtavuouri powders shooting bullets of 160grs,& 180grs and for the Dakota
200 grs wildacts. I would like the powder which gives the highest speed. Is n-170 slower than n-560? I am now using rl-25 and I am getting great speeds for my 7mm rem mag,the 160gr accubonds give 3077fps, Will the vv powders give me that speed and which one is as slow as rl-25, any experience with these powders is welcome.

170 is slower than 560. vv170 is slower than rl 25. 560 works great in the 7mag and 300 mag and also works great in the short mags 243AI and 6-6.5x47 depending on the bullet weight used.

According to QL's prediction with vv560 and the 160AB you should be within 20fps of rl 25. VV570 may give you a little better velocity ,about 50fps, than rl25, but it is going to be a little more compressed than your rl25 load. 104% load density versus 101% load density.

That was not a mistake....it is vv570 that I was referring to not n170

N170 would probably work with the 200 grain Wildcat bullets but might not be ideal. N170 is slowwwwwwwwwww.

Has anyone seen N570 yet? I have been trying to get some since I first heard of it over a year and a half ago. As far as I can tell, none has been imported into the US yet. If anyone has a source, please let me know.

I was able to get Vihtavouri N570 in October last year here in Oz, and from my experience it would be very unusual if it was available here before it was available in the US.

I read several reports that it was supposed to be slower burning than Viht N170, but my early testing of N570 in a 257W suggests it to be slightly faster burning than N170. I have listed my chrono data below:
257W - 100 grain Nosler BT. (Rem 700, Krieger 26 inch 7 twist barrel)
73.0 grains - Viht N570 - 3535 fps
74.0 grains - Viht N570 - 3586 fps (Max)
75.0 grains - AR2225 - 3487
76.0 grains - AR2225 - 3561 (Max)
82.0 grains - Hodgdon 870 - 3553 (Max)

ADI AR 2225 is rebadged and sold as HRetumbo in the US, but I have found in several other cases that it appears to be about 1.0 grain faster burning than VihtN170.
