Vectan powder verses hodgdon varget

I am currently getting good results with varget in my .243win.
At £33-00 a pound its 40% more expensive than the Vectan powder I have just found advertised. Is this a get what you pay for thing or will I not notice any difference?

Thank
Jeza

Re: Vectan powder verses hodgdon varget

Jeza,
I do believe Vectan powders are manufactured in France, no duties or taxes to pay, European Union and all that free trade stuff.
I used vectan powders years ago in my pistol loads, if that was anything to go by they were on par with the best of the american powders.

Ian.
