Use the same data for H4831sc as H4831?

I didn't see any listing for the "sc" on Hodgdon's site, I'm assuming to use H3831 data. More specifically, I'm looking for a load with the 7Rem mag and 168gr VLD.

Load data is the same for the two powders. Check here for recipes....

4831 is one of my favorite powders. With my 300WM the 4831 shoots better than the 4831SC. I believe this is because the SC or short cut settles in the case a little better and allows for more empty case area. My speeds vari more with the exact same amout of regular or SC. I just thought i would mention it, because I noticed you were working with a 7mm Mag.

+1
I use both and find them a little different so start low anytime you substitute one for the other.

The best H4831 that I ever used was the very old powder that Hodgdon started with(He pulled
bullets from 20mm surplus rounds when he started).

It is all good stuff

My father in law still has some of the mil surplus 4831 that he and another guy bought a 50 pound barrel years ago. Might have to try some of that.
