Tight neck, worth it in this rifle ?
I am about to send my rifle to be re-reamed and am wondering if it might be worthwhile to wait and have it re-reamed with a tight neck chamber. The gunsmith I am sending it to only has a factory spec .30-.378 WBY chamber that is .344 at the neck. I have a tight neck (.333) 300 WBY and do not mind the PIA it is to neck turn the brass because I am very happy with the accuracy of the rifle and suspect I am getting longer case life out of the brass as well.
How much accuracy potential is in a tight neck chamber? How much additional brass life as well. I am very concerned with the accuracy potential of this rifle due to the amount of time and money I have put into it.
