Temperture senistivity and fighting a war

Just watched a special on MSNBC ( Far left) Any how they had a young marine sniper ( Brave Young man) talk of his multiple tours of duty in AFghanistan and Iraq . He mentioned how temps have gotten up to 140 degrees there!!!!!! Any how we complain about temp sensitive powders here . How in the heck does the military deal with the problem? This young sniper mentioned how he made a 1200 yard lethal shot and a enemy scum bag . His ammo must be perfect. I guess its that Lake City stuff. Some body knows what their doing......

I'd say it's done by shooting at large targets, or walking shots into targets.

From personal experience, we seemed to be the only idiots running around when it was over 100degrees. Even the "Bad Guys" had more sence then that!

It's not magic ,just lots of practice and knowing where and how the bullets react at different
    temperatures and altitudes.

Also the military does not load to max, so temp is not an issue as far as to hot.

I don't know what type of powder they use but most of the time it is ball powder
    and it is temp sensitive.
