Re: surplus h-116 and h-108
108 is just another repackaged wc820 or in other words aa9 which was also just repackaged 820. Keep in mind though with all surplus powder burning rates can vary alot between batch numbers. start with starting loads for aa9 and work up slow. I use more of this powder then any other pistol powder in the big bores. 116 is just 1680 again both are just surplus powders. I use alot of it in the 762x39, 22 hornet and in my 500 and 475 linebaughs and 454s. it would also work well in a 460 smith or 500 smith. Its all very good powder. I wish i could find 116 cheap again as a surplus powder. out of your list both can be used for light cast loads in the 4570. Both will work in the 454. 108 will do fine at ruger level loads in the 45 colt. and 116 will work in the 223 its a bit on the fast side for it but ive used it and got decent accuracy with it.
