Re: Sierra gameking 165 gr 30-06 load

I shoot it with 57.8 grain of H4350 for .5 MOA groups. The COAL is 3.300" in my Remington 700 ADL.

24hourcampfire has a bunch of threads on load 30-06. i would start low 55.0 to 59.0, in .5 grain increments. 030 off the lands. 3 or 4 shot groups. 210m or wlr primer.

My oal is 3.347" .020" off the lands vanguard sub moa with 165s and Imr 4350 it started flattening primers at 58 grains, I now use H4350 at 58.8grns with no pressure and 55fps gain and no change in accuracy.

I have settled on a 57grain load and it is working fine, not sure about velocity as i don't own a chrono.
    Cheers

Good choice Devon in powders. I have used 57.4 grs. of IMR4350 with either the 165 gr. Nosler Partition or Accubond in two 30-06 rifles I have and they both shot that load wonderfully! I never noticed any pressure signs in either rifle and the case life in both was very good. Great load for the 30-06 and just about anything you want to hunt with it.
