seating off the lands

How do i figure out my oal to get the bullet seated off the lands in My No.1 7 STW? i know i cant reach em with my 100gr sierras but with 168gr matchkings and 140 nosler BT's? Thanks for looking

One of the easiest ways is to purchase and Over All Length Gauge.

Something like this one from Midway: Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gage Bolt Action
