Ruger MKII VT 22-250

Found a load that the stock 22-250 likes. 52g nosler custom competition, rem primer, with 37g of H380. Should I be happy with that from a stock gun or should I play with the jump? I loaded that group just small enough to fit in the magazine.

Well that looks pretty darn nice. Since your at max length the only adjustment you have is to shorten the oal. Might be better, might be worse. You sorting your bullets by ogive length or just seating to a certain oal? I measure and sort by distance from the base to the ogive to make certain I hold a consistent jump distance. Ymmv

Re: Ruger MKII VT 22-250

This is the first box of these bullets that I've ever used so I don't have an opinion yet...but I started sorting them and the entire box was so close that I gave up halfway through This load was after I gave up and one of 3 that I'm going to take a closer look at. The other 2 loads shot .6 and .61 and were traveling almost 200fps faster so I'm going to run all 3 again
