Remington 260 Load needed

Hello all.

I need some info on a load for cow elk using a Remington 260. I know that its a light rifle for elk but its my son's first hunt and he is a bit recoil sensitive. I went back and forth on all 4 of the 308 based cases and settled on the 260 because he just doesnt like the recoil of my 308.

What Im looking for is some load info for the 125 grain partition and maybe the 140 grain partition. I cant see that we will be shooting over 100 yards... thanks for any info...

Cant wait to get him into the woods with his FIRST rifle and his FIRST hunt! Gonna be so cool!

Ryan
