Reloader 10x

Has anybody any experience with Reloader 10x? To be specific I want to load .222, .223, .22BR and the 6mmBR. All with light bullets. 35gr. Lead free up to 50gr. in the 22's and 55gr. To 70gr. in the 6mmBR. The deuces are 14 twist, the .223 is a 9 twist, the 22BR is a 10 twist and the 6mmBR is a 14 twist.

Any suggestions will be taken in with caution and will be worked up to in my particular rifles.

Thank you

Casey

Re: Reloader 10x

RE10x is an excellent powder i use 35.5grns behind a 40grn nosler in my 22-250 it yeilds right at 4220fps and no pressure, its really good for getting speed without pressure. The last 100 yard 10 shot group I put up with that load was a .390" hole so .166 moa. Of course you will be using probably 10 grns less in 222 and 223, but with anything over 52grn 224 bullet a little slower powder yeilds better velocity, but may not be the case in 223 because of case design. Just start at book reccomendations and work up, when you get close to max start going up .1 grns at a time, see signs of pressure back off .2 and it'll most likely get you best velocity and accuracy.

Re: Reloader 10x

I have used it in my 223 shooting light weight bullets with good results but I like H4895 better.

Re: Reloader 10x

I use RL 10x in my 22-250 and in my 223 both with 50 grain Hornady v-max and have great success. 32 grains in my 22-250 and 24.2 grains in the 223. I get good groups in both under 1/2'' five shot groups at 100 yards. I really like VVN133 and use it in my Weatherby 224 and Rem. 222 but for the 22-250 and 223 RL 10x works great. These are the two powders I have the best luck with in these calibers.................. I tried the new IMR 8208XBR in my 22-250 and it did not like the powder. I plan to try in in some other calibers as well when I get a chance.
Hope this helps.
