I don't have books with me, but I ran some info for you from Quickload. The following info is for H-322 and a cartridge length of 2.260. The 223 Remington has 2 distinct pressure standards. The SAAMI standard is 55,000psi and the Remington Standard is 62,366psi. I believe the SAAMI spec is for semi-auto rifles and the remington standard is for strong bolt action recently produced rifles. (if I'm wrong on this, someone please let us know). Keep this in mind when looking at the following info.

Re: Reload data needed
My lyman book says to trim cases to 1.750. I trimed cases. I looked at loading a 45 grain sierra soft point (hornet). the hodgton websites says ... If I seat the bullet to only 2.240 it looks like the bullets barly in there?
I load multible calibers. Am I not seeing something? Or is it because I trimmed to 1.750
45 GR. SIE SP Hodgdon H322 .224" 2.240" 23.0 3164 36,000 CUP 25.0 3424 47,400 CUP
