They got best accuracy then and still do today with proper full length sized bottleneck cases.

I think that's the key, getting the die set up correctly with that .002 bump for a proper full length sizing. I must be close to a having them set up right on the different firearms I load for because the accuracy is sub .5MOA in most of them. I will get the measurement tools that I need so that I know for sure I'm not unknowingly setting the shoulder back too far.
