^^^^^ Me too! I just use the Remington in mine and it shoots great! It's cheaper and my local guy stocks it. Needs prep as stated above but that's a part of reloading.

Another thing that sold me on the remmy brass was that Shawn carlock uses it and if it is good enough for him then its good enough for me If you guys havent bought his reloading video it is a great watch . Also has one hunt at the end. Sorry didnt mean to get off topic from the post but felt it was worth mentioning.

have a good day!

Re: Quality .300 RUM Brass? Fed, Nos or Rem?

I'm with alot of these guys, Remington brass is better suited for the max loads I feed my RUM. Primer pockets loosen up after 2 firings on some of the other stuff and also pressure signs. I sometimes get 5 firings on the Remington before I have to put it in the recycle bucket (but some of it has to go after only 3 firings too).

BTW, has anyone ever tried the RWS brass? If so is it better than the other brass we get for the RUM or is it about the same?

I've heard very little about RWS, but the little I have heard has all been well into the positive. Are they offering RUM brass? I must have missed that....

I thought that I saw some a year or so back but I may have been mistaken. I thought that I read that they have runs of it from time to time... again could be my mistake, that was alot of reading gone by and my memory has glitches from time to time...

Re: Quality .300 RUM Brass? Fed, Nos or Rem?

Norma just released 300 RUM brass. I have some on the way and I will be using it in a 7 RUM. Hopefully it will as good as the other calibers of Norma brass that I have used. I will post a review when I get a few firings. I have been using Nosler and Remington brass thus far and I have to agree that once I sort, neck turn and prep the Remington brass, it's as good or better than the Nosler

Re: Quality .300 RUM Brass? Fed, Nos or Rem?

I know this is an old thread but is Remington and Nosler the only choices for brass? If so, is Remington the better choice? Thanks for any help!
