Re: Press ???s Please help!

Desert Fox,

You can't compare the Dillon Square Deal to the RL550B or 650 or 1050 or to any other press for that matter. The square deal was made just for pistol reloading, I don't even think they offer a rifle conversion for that press.

Go get a 550B, 650 or 1050 and see what David Tubb, the US Palma Team and many others have discovered.

Steelhead, I don't want to start an argument here but you've misunderstood my statement. I've never claimed that Square Deal can be used for reloading rifle rounds. I'm very familiar with all Dillon products. As a matter of fact I'm still receiving their Blue Press here and there. I have used all of the Dillon model you've mentioned, from 550 to 1050, courtesy of my friend, who own a custom ammo reloading business. Square Deal were only made to reload pistol and revolver rounds. It is utilitarian as far as reloading press is concerned, but it met all of my pistol reloading needs. I have nothing against Mike Dillon and his products and certainly I'm no David Tubbs. I can only speak for myself, my reloading experience and my reloading wisdom. Have a nice day. To achieve the maximum possible accuracy, all variables must be remove or at least minimize.
