Opinions on Fed Nickle Plated Brass

I'm a rookie when it comes to nickle plated brass and was wondering if anyone had any good or bad experience with the Nickle Fed Brass for the Ultra Mags? I have read that the nickle helps tighten the chamber neck area, but the cases are more prone to cracking than brass only. I would be shooting from a factory chamber 38 RUM.
