Re: It Only Takes A Few Seconds... Please Help!

Kinda interesting but it might be nice to know what everone is useing for brass and why??
.
223 and 375/50BMG= WCC(cheap for the 223 and as good as any for the 375/50BMG
.
6 & 6.5/284=Lapua(long range prairie dog rigs,I need all the help I can get)
.
204,22-250,243,25-06,7mag,30-06,300Winmag=Winchester(it works & is readily available!!)
.
308Baer=340 Norma and Weatherby brass came with the gun(aint shot it enough to tell the difference
.
6.5x55=gets Reminton factory loads(I dont shoot it much and the Remington outshoots any of my reloads???)
.
The only difference I have realy noticed between different brands of brass is being too tuff(crackt necks,Remington brass in the 22-250)or soft( Norma seams to not take near as hot of a load as Winchester,6.5WSM)
.
Whats everyone else USEING and why

[/ QUOTE ]If they are the same parent company that is news to me but even if they are the brass IS NOT the same. Federal is the best of the domestic brass hands down. but Norma is euro brass that is a notch above. The metalurgy is obviously not the same,if you neck turn cases Federal (Win and Rem also) turn like butter compared to Norma (and Lapua). the primer pockets on the Norma (and Lapua) are tighter from start to finish of case life than our domestic brass. Federal is the best stuff made in the USA, but it pains me to say that the Euro's make better brass but they do. on the bright side it is not made in France and it is one less thing we dont get from China.
