NEW BRASS

WILL THERE BE ANY NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE IN ACCURACY BETWEEN FIRED BRASS AND VIRGIN BRASS, BOTH BEING FL SIZED?

If you full length size, trim and chamfer, deburr the primer pocket and sort by weight (If possible keep batches within
    1/2 to 1 grain.

load test loads in each weigh group(I have found great accuracy by taking my pet load and changing case volume.

So start with well prepared and sorted brass and you will
find it sometimes shoots better than reloaded brass.

After 3 loadings it begins to work harden .

If you neck size only fire forming is a must.

Prep at least 200 rds to start with that way when
you find that pet load you will have enough brass to
    last a long time.

In a hunting rifle most likely NOT. IN a recent experiment I loaded virgin 300 wby .5 grain lighter than fireformed brass thinking the case capacity might be ever so slightly less. There was 10ft/second difference between them and all bullets went to the same point of impact.
If you are benchresting at long distances with a super match quality gun I would say you could lose a match by jockeying back and forth.
