Need help with press: T-7, Forester, Harrell or O?
Up until now, Iíve loaded my rifle ammo ďsingle stageĒ using my Dillon 550. It worked ok, but I wasnít real happy with runout. There was just too much play in the toolhead. Also, when I changed out shellplates for the caliber conversion, and then switched back, I got a little more runout.
So I am looking for a press. I was set on the Redding T-7, but from some reading Iíve done on these forums, Iím not sure if my runout would be much better. It seems a lot of guys are using the Rockchucker. But it seems inconvienant to switch out dies on an O press. I looked into the Forester Co-Ax and it seems this would be the deal, but would there be slop just like the T-7 or the Dillon? Forester (of course) says no, if you use their locking rings. Would the Harrell be the deal? I like the idea of setting the dies and thatís it, but not if I have to deal with the runout.
I am loading for .223 and .308 and will most likely keep with those calibers for the time being.
Any help is appreciated.
