Need .338 Edge load suggestions

Still looking for Edge loads. I'll be using 225 Nosler Partitions and Accubonds to start. Other bullet weights(except 300's) will be considered.
So, you Edge shooters, what are you loading ?
Am I correct in starting with max .338 RUM loads across the spectrum of powders and bullets and then work up 2-4 grains ?

Try H1000 as the first powder. Yes start at max 338 Ultra data and work up slowly untin it is at max safe pressure with out hammering cases in 2 shots. I would look at a 250gr projectile the 250gr LApua or MatchKings would be good performers.

The ultimate would be the new Wildcat Projectiles they have a new adition and if you went for a 250gr New Wildcat it should have a BC of the 300gr MAtchKing by the looks of it. The new 300gr Wildcats are over 1.8" long

I'll second what Bill said. The 225 and H1000 is a good match.

I also use H1000 for my powder.

Why don't you want to use 300's?
