I read an article a while back that a guy wrote after he tested the velocity difference between rounds stored bullet down and ones stored bullets up. He found that the rounds with the bullets stores up produce about 30fps more velocity than the ones stored bullets down. Now this was tested in a handgun and you can make what you want of it. But if it is true than the ones stored bullets up must be producing more pressure and therefor more stretch.
