Max Load for IMR4895 in .300WSM/168 gr TSX?

I looked on the Hodgon Reloading Data Center, but they do not list a max load for IMR4895 in .300 WSM using 168 gr bullets. I am going to use 168 gr. Barnes Tipped TSX bullets with Norma brass. I am looking to start 10% under max, but can't find the max load. My reloading book is a little older and doesn't have the newer WSM loads.

Can anyone tell me what the max load is for IMR4895 and what manual they are using that lists the max load?

On a side note, I am using a Remington XCR with 1-10" twist. Does anyone have any good sub-MOA H4895 loads they are using with 168 gr bullets in 1-10 twist? Thanks in advance for your help.

Barnes reloading manual #4 lists 55.5 grains of H4895 as max with 168 gr. Does't list IMR 4895.

Sierra V Lists 57.8 as max for H4895 their 168gr bullets. 3000fps and is their accuracy load.
    No Mention of I4895.

    No 4895 in Hornady7 or Nosler 6

Would I be better off to go with H4350? I am looking for good accuracy and a temperature tolerant powder since I will be taking it out West to look for elk this fall. Thanks.

I have found that H 4350 works best for me in my 300SAUM but that is a little different than what your shooting. I'm using 61.8 gr with a 180 gr ttsx and accuracy is the best I have found. Your case should hold a liitle more powder.

I use H4350 with 210's, works great. I will be working up a load in the next couple of weeks for a friend with 178 Amaxes in a XCR. I am going to start with H4350 and Imr4350. Will let you know what I come up with.

I own two 300 WSM's and I load for both of them. I have had better luck with RL-19 and N550 in my guns. Why use IMR-4895? I have also had good luck with IMR-4831. My elk load is 168 grain TSX, in Norma case, WLRM and 62.5 grains of N550(Max according to the #6 Nosler manual is 64.5). This load produces about 3000 ft/sec out my Ruger Mark II with a 22 inch barrel. It is also quite accurate.

For just speed and not quit as great of accuracy IMR-4831 can easy get 3100 ft/sec and it may be accurate in your gun. I think that the medium slow powders work great in the 300 WSM's. I have not tried IMR-4895 or H4895 because I gotten great accuracy and speed out of the powders listed.
