Loads for 25-06 sendero

I just bought a Remington stainless 25-06 Sendero. I would like to use this gun for long range coyotes out to 500 to 600 yards. What powder and bullets to you guys recommend?

I like a 115 Nosler Ballistic Tip with 54.0 grains of H450. They give me almost 3000 feet per second out of a 22" barrel, the powder doesn't seem to foul the barrel quickly and they try to go into one hole at 100 yards if I do my part. Trim to length at 2.484" if you can and overall length for me is 3.245" - Winchester cases and a Winchester large non-magnum primer. Here is the rough figures on trajectory: 100 yards/+2", 200 yards/0", 300 yards/-7", 400 yards/-22", 500 yards/-46", 600 yards/-80". Good luck and wait for more opinions.

The new powder Reloader #25 is king of the hill now for the 25/06. Start off with 58.0g of R#25, Fed 215 with a 100g bullet and work up to 63.0g stopping where you see pressure. Seat the bullets to kiss the lands, and use Winchester brass only. Rem brass is REAL soft!

You will be amazed at the speed and the accuracy of this cartridge with R#25.

In the custom 26" Shelin bbl that was a 12 twist the load was Fed 215 primer, 63.0g of R#25 with a 100g Sierra flat base at 3650 fps with all bullets touching at 100. All I had to do was neck size the brass for repeated firings.

On the 117g Flat base Sierra, the load was 58.0g at 3350 fps three shot groups in the very low .4's. This was an absolute max load for this rifle and brass had to be full length sized after first firing, but primer pockets were not opened up.

The loads that I listed above are safe in that rifle and if you attempt to use this loading data, start off 4-5g less and work up to these loads. The 12 twist barrel may make a big difference in pressures, and like all powders, lot numbers of powders can vary in their burning rates.

    Good luck!

Keith, I have Reloader 22 and 25 and i will try these powders, and some others mentioned. But I not sure what bullet?I know I don't want to go lighter than 100gr bullet. What bullet will still expand at 500 to 600 yards?
