Loading data needed for 300 UM-150g Bullets

I'm going to help a freind load for a 300 Ultra Mag. He is insisting on using the 150g Nosler Accubond bullet due to the velocity. He is wanting to shoot deer on a power line here in SC out to 600 yards. I have tried to talk him into a 180g Ballistic Tip to no avail. If anyone has any info on what a 700 Sendero might like, all help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance//1

Re: Loading data needed for 300 UM-150g Bullets

I used 150g combined tech btips with 105g H-1000, RP case, Fed 215, 3.660". Velocity was 3650fps, groups were .3"-.4" at 100 yards, and were 3.5"-4" at 800 yards. It was a superbly accurate bullet out of my 300 RUM. I never did shoot anything with them. Never fed them a steady diet as they are "barrel burners." Just wanted to work up a load with them. Rifle was a rem 700 LSS w/26" factory tube.

94gr 7828 with 150gr accubonds gives me 3 holes touching consistently at 100 yards.
