Re: Load data 6MMx284

I'm shooting a 6-284 with 107smk's.
Ramshot Magnum has worked out awesome and has been very accurate and stable.
I'm shooting 60.5gr at 3400fps out of a 28" barrel.
You may want to start at 55gr and work up.

Re: Load data 6MMx284

I have 2 mainly shoot the smaller bullets 85 bthp 24" barrel. 53 grains of imr 4350 at 3450 1/2 moa and under. rem 700, 24" 243 opened up. i like this load have a lupy with a vh reticle and load matchs moa on scope next to perfect. the 85 is an excellant deer bullet for my area of 600 and under. i have a friend thats all he has hunted with taking 22 bull elk since 1978 using the 100 nosler solid base, they dont make that bullet anymore but he has few k tucked away. nosler actually had a run of seconds and they shoot well. also on smaller bullet line the 80 g. rem. power lok some people calls uglys because they are actually ugly shoot awsome. my other rifle will shoot them in the 3's load is 55.5 grains imr 4350 getting over 3600 fps. i tried the 87 v-max ranging anywhere from 53-55 grains of imr-4350 shot well also with same impact as sierra 85 bthp with 1/2 moa getting more vel.
