popwarlick,
Before I answer your query, why do you want to shoot 'mid weight' bullets in your 300WM?
A good accurate load,IN MY RIFLE,is 77gr of RE 22,FedGMM215 primers in Remington brass, which has been flash hole deburred, weight sorted, annealed and trimmed to exacting length.
I cannot give you how many .000" off the lands because your rifle may have a different length throat to my rifle.
You will need to work this out for yourself.
